The bunny came and brought family!!!!

We had the greatest Easter! It started with the whirl wind of the kids trying to find their baskets and hidden eggs. That easter bunny was super tricky to the older kids! Bray's basket took him about an hour to find. Luckily Dad had opened the kitchen cupboard and gave him a boost! They were so happy with their water guns and kites! Then it was another whirl wind to get ready for church at 9 AM!! They were really excited to get dressed in the outfits that mom made! Yep! I made a dress and 3 ties!! It was so fun to see them all matchy matchy!! Church was awesome, then it was off to Nana and Grandpa Whites for lunch and an easter egg hunt! All the cousins had so much fun! Then it was home to get ready for the rest of the crew! WE had yummy food and family from Vegas come down. Cousins, Aunts, Uncles,  Grandpas and Grandma's and Great Grandpa White! There was about 27 of us there! It was good food and a great day to go outside and fly our new kites! It was a wonderful gathering of our family. A reminder of how much we miss those who could not come. So we love you and missed you! A great Easter and beautiful spring day!

Easter is Coming

I have had a really bad week. I think it is the weather. I love the SUN! I need the SUN! When it is not out it makes me not want to get out of my jammies. Maybe it is the fact that I am potty training the most difficult of my kids. I spend endless hours of my day sitting in front of him and coaching him that he can do it! I have a headache. My house doesn't ever seem to be clean, and I am constantly trying to keep the peace in all parts of my life. Today, I have looked at all of my dear friends and family's blogs. As I was reading the blog of my sister-in-law Tandy. She made me realize that I just need to suck it UP!! We all have bad days. We all have "plans" that don't quite go the way we want them to go. We don't always get the recognition we want. I just want to tell all who I love and care about that, I really love my life! I love my family! AND I love that my Heavenly Father is there for me every step of the way.

As Easter approaches on us, I am SO grateful for our Brother and Savior Jesus Christ. Who if not for him we would not be here, we would not be able to have BAD days and be forgiven when we say the wrong things to the people we love. I am so grateful that I can choose to be a peacemaker or choose to have a bad day and not break up the fights. I wish for all that reads this chooses to remember our Savior. Not only this weekend, but always. Remember his example. Be the best you can be. We are not perfect, we never will be, no one will BE! Just try to make the sun come out even if it is cloudy.

Happy Easter!

A TOOTH!

Our Abby is 6 1/2 years old. She is doing great in the first grade, and loves being creative with friends and her brothers. We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments. She has had a real hard time with being very anxious when it comes to some things. Like a fear of dogs and cats. (overcome), Fear of speaking in front of others. (mostly overcome), Bloody noses, (overcome). It is really incredible what happens to children when they have these fears and you really push them to face it and just keep trying. It really works! Abby is our proof of this! Last week, her tooth, that she was waiting and waiting to be loose, was REALLY loose!! I thought for sure this would be another one of those things that was going to be very hard to overcome. Pulling out a tooth!! This video shows how nervous, but brave our little Abs Magoo was to have Daddy pull it out! We are so proud of you Abby and how Brave you are being as you get older and bigger! Now just stop, cuz Mommy doesn't want all her kids to get BIG!!
BTW this was Daddy's first time pulling a tooth!! Bray did all his on his own!!

Locks of Love

Abby has always had beautiful long hair. Her daddy loves it so much he never wants mommy to cut it. But thanks to a friend Kristin and her daughter Ayden, I had the great idea of cutting Abby's hair for locks of love. Abby was very excited (but nervous) to be able to share her beautiful hair with other little girls that are sick. We made the appointment and went to Mckell, she was so nice! Now Abby has a brand new do and attitude!!! Daddy was the first stop to see it.......He LOVED IT!! Aunt TT was also there, she LOVES it too! Next was her best friend Lauren and family, LOVED IT! Then home to the boys, they said "Abby its so cute!" Then they were back to playing! We even got up this morning and styled it and it is still CUTE!! Way to be Brave Abbs. Now all we need is warm weather to go with the short hair!

Homemaker??

Ok. So I have had a brand new Sewing machine for 2 years. Nick got it for me for Christmas when I begged him for it. I haven't used it once...Until my friend Elizabeth said "We are going to make aprons!!" She came over with another friend and taught me how to SEW!! Can you believe it?? So That was last week and I made one with them and then I went to a fabric store and found another one I just had to make! So here is a picture! I am really shocked how easy it was! Nick just laughs at me and says I will be sewing the carpet soon! (funny babe!) Anyway, I am pretty proud and wanted to write a post about it! BTW I have used them, and cooked with it on everyday since!

Costa Rica (I know tough life!)

Nick and I just got back from our Annual trip with KJZZ. This year they took us to the beautiful Los Suenos Marriot In Costa Rica. We were about 10 minutes from a city called Jaco. We took our Clients that own Bathcrest. Craig and Carolyn We were able to have wonderful adventures. We went to a Place Called Manuel Antonio National Park. It was about an Hour and a half drive. We got to hike for a mile to a non-existent waterfall (I guess it is the dry season!) But it was a fun hike! Then we got back on the path and saw 2 different kinds of Monkey's. They were flying in the trees! I even fed one a piece of Apple! It was really cool! Then the path took us to the most beautiful white sand beach. We hung out till they closed! It was really fun, except for the part when I got stung by a jellyfish on my foot!!! I didn't even know what happened till we were leaving and one of the park rangers told me! Ouch! It was small, and NO nobody peed on it! I just rubbed mud on it! We were able to go on the most awesome Zip Line! First time for Nick and me! It was a blast and the guys that worked there were so nice and funny! They really made it memorable. Even though my body shook for the first 8 drops. It did stop for the last 6!!! I would defiantly do it again! The rest of the time. We were able to chill by the pool, Hang out with New and Old friends, and just have a great relaxing vacation! It was really a great time! We are glad to be home with the kids! We missed them so much by the 4th day! All was well at home. Except for Ryan being sick the first night with the stomach flu! Yuck! But everyone survived! Thank you Nick for having such a fun job, so you can take me to these Awesome places!

Child Labor!

A couple weeks ago Bray had the opportunity to do another Commercial for Davis Vision Center. This is his 2nd Radio Commercial and he also did a voice over for a TV commercial last year! He really has a natural talent. Nick said that it only takes him about 3 times to get it just right! The first time we heard it on the radio, Ethan (4) said "MOM THAT IS BRAY!! On the RADIO, IT IS BRAY!!" he was so excited. I didn't even hear it till the end. Nick is so lucky to have such a cheap worker! He works for Fast Food =0).
